When purchasing a Care certificate you will be providing economic
incentives for participating families to take care of the forest and
produce environmental services (foment biodiversity, protection of
water services and carbon sequestration, among others).

Currently, many families that cut down the trees do so because they
need the income to survive. Families participating in care and save will
receive economic incentives to care for the forest through a temporary
payment from the Care Certificate until their trees (acai, cupuacu,
andiroba, etc) begin to generate income.
